Thank you Arizona! Our community came together and distributed 4027 to 65 senior care facilities in 2019. We couldn't have done it without our hard-working volunteers and the support of our donors! Take a look at the photos.

ElderTLC Brightens Holidays for Low-Income Residents in Senior Care Facilities

For many of us, the holidays are a time to celebrate and share with the ones we love. Yet for some residents in senior care facilities, the holidays can be a lonely time. Our mission at ElderTLC is to let these residents know that their community cares by providing meaningful gifts during the holidays.

With your help, ElderTLC acquires gifts such as blankets, clothing, and personal care items distributing them to low-income residents in senior care facilities. These gifts are given once a year, but ElderTLC volunteers work year-round to carry out our mission.

Receiving our 501(c)3 status in 2016,  2017 was our first year of operation. Our goal at ElderTLC was to distribute gifts to 500 recipients. With the help of our volunteers, we were able to double that number and distributed gifts to 1071 recipients. For many, these were the only gifts they received this holiday season. Increasing that goal to 1500 for 2018, the help of many volunteers and generous donors allowed us to distribute 2379 gifts to 37 senior care facilities!  Facilities drove as far as from Tucson, Winslow, Yuma, Prescott as well as the general Phoenix area to select gifts for their low-income residents with our phone ringing up to the last day for requests. The need is overwhelming! Please join our efforts to distribute 3000 gifts for the 2019 Holiday Season.
